The dream for Barbie Kennedy Inspired Home Collections began with a platter. The platter, a father's day present for my dad or as we call him "Pop", was painted with two lobsters, some whimsy and a lot of love. The platter has shared the dinner table making memories for many years in our family home in Maine. Who would have thought that one platter could inspire a company and create a dream. Since the platter was created I have had the privilege to grace the tables of many homes. I have been blessed to share the shelves of gift shops and resorts along the East coast. After 10 years of creating dinnerware, my passion for design has grown. My designs are ever changing, ever evolving. My inspirations can come from seeing the smallest things walking on the beach or can be from the memories that come from being with the family and friends whom I love.
